Here is another soapbox rant.

We have all heard some variation of the statement “If you do not like the weather, wait a minute”. Well, we have that kind of situation here this week. The weather was nice over the weekend, and the temperature shot up to 60+ degrees Monday. It was very windy, with gusts up to 45mph. Today [...]

Although they were possibly supposed to start the framing Friday, they did not. We are grateful for them being done with the concrete work however. Late last week they poured the garage and shop floors. They also delivered the steel beams that will be used between the basement and 1st floor. Here is a picture [...]
How Does It Feel To Be Having A Baby?

Are we having a baby? Yes
Am I sure? Yes
Am I nervous and excited? Kind of
When Melanie thought she was pregnant it did not phase me. Life is full of “I was sure” to end up to be something completely different. So no, I was not excited at this point. I was not excited after the [...]

Holiday
Well, the holidays are past and it has been 18 days since our last blog. We spent Christmas with the Lawson clan and enjoyed our time in Oklahoma. It was the first time in several years where my sisters and I were all together at the same time. We also enjoyed visiting [...]
